Originally started in 1969 by then Colorado PTA President, Mary Lou Anderson, the Reflections Program has been a successful tool to promote creativity from many students.  For many years, Wilton's PTA has provided the opportunity for Wilton students to showcase their work in the categories of literature, musical composition, photography, visual arts, dance choreography and film/video production.

This year, let’s encourage our students to consider the importance of community with the 2025-2026 PTA Reflections Contest theme, “I Belong!” Student artists are invited to create original work!

Arts categories include:

  • VISUAL ARTS

  • LITERATURE

  • MUSIC COMPOSITION

  • PHOTOGRAPHY

  • FILM PRODUCTION.

  • DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY

Students with disabilities may enter the category that most closely aligns with their abilities, including the ACCESSIBLE ARTS category. See RULES for details about specific arts category submissions.

In addition to creating the artwork, entries require a SUBMISSION FORM with personal information and a significant 10-100 word artist statement. This form is fillable.

Art entries (in acceptable digital formats dictated by art rules) and submission forms (in pdf) will need to be uploaded to this Google Form. Physical art submissions will also be collected at each school for the purpose of display.

The deadline for the Wilton Public Schools contest is Friday, November 21st. The District wide Ceremony with art display and announcement of awards will take place in January, date to be announced.
