Are you new to Wilton Public Schools?
Need Help understanding PowerSchool or School Dismissal Manager?
Below are answers to your top questions!

POWERSCHOOL
PowerSchool manages the demographic data of our students; sends out the progress reports and maintains your emergency contact information.
SCHOOL DISMISSAL MANAGER
Before the school year begins, parents will receive an email from School Dismissal Manager with their activation codes to set up their account. The default setting for each student is their home bus. If a change to the default plan is necessary, the alternative dismissal instruction must be entered into the system by 12:30pm. Children will be sent on their home bus if a change is not entered. If parents miss the 12:30 pm deadline, a note must be brought to the office. For the students’ safety, changes in plans will not be accepted over the phone, fax or through email to the teacher or office.
The desktop version of the platform allows for customized dismissal plans, including new default and recurring dismissal instructions.
Pick-ups at the Main Office are allowed only for medical appointments, illness, or family emergency. If you need to pick your child up early, you MUST send a note in with your student to give to their teacher in the morning (any pickup before 3:20 pm).

DROP-OFF/PICK-UP LINES
There are two drop-off/pick up lines! See notes below on the two campus entrances and drop-off/pick-up loops.
Drop-off runs from 8:45 – 9:00am. After 9:00am, parents must park and sign their child in at the Main Office. In the afternoon, children are dismissed to the pick-up areas at 3:30pm. Please remain in your car and always remain in line. If there are siblings, the designated drop-off/pick-up line for the family always defaults to the youngest child. To expedite pick-up, please keep the paper you receive at Meet the Teacher printed with your last name in your car and hold it up on the passenger side of the car so your child can be quickly identified and sent to their car..
North (“Yellow Loop” and Preschool)
The entrance for this loop is off Wolfpit Road. North drop-off/pick-up is for most 1st grade students and all 2nd grade students. This is also the entrance that should be used for the preschool’s Orange Loop.
South (“Purple Loop”)
The entrance for this loop is off Belden Hill Road. South drop-off/pick up is for Kindergarten and some 1st grade students.
